The project took place through a tender in cooperation with Port of Koper. The two-part KLP (combined ship loader and unloader) project was intended for the restoration and replacement of outdated electrical control and equipment on TST silos.
A two-part project:
1️⃣ part: Documentation for the renovation of electrical installations, devices and equipment
2️⃣ part: Renovation of electrical installations, devices and equipment
Improvements:
Interior: all electronic installations (hydraulics, devices, motors including the whole control room) and all used equipment was replaced
Exterior: new exterior look (fresh coloration)
When building the system, we followed the fundamental principle, which is user-friendliness, which means ease of use and transparency of what is happening in the system. Management takes place in two directions. What’s most important is that we completely renewed the outdated machinery with a new state-of-the-art control system.
Our new system includes restored and updated controls and all other up-to-date functionalities. The most beneficial part is that the renewed crane brain system is connected with Port’s centralized control system which allows day and night data configuration for easier maintenance.
