Robotina and Rudolfovo Receive Silver Innovation Award for BatteryIQ
Robotina, together with Rudolfovo (Science and Technology Centre Novo mesto), has received the 2026 Silver Innovation Award of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Dolenjska and Bela Krajina (GZDBK) for BatteryIQ – an Advanced Battery String Condition Analysis System for UPS Applications.
BatteryIQ is an advanced solution for monitoring battery health in uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems, which play a critical role in ensuring reliable power availability in data centers, telecommunications networks, and other critical infrastructure environments. By combining data analytics, statistical methods, and machine learning algorithms, the system enables early detection of anomalies and identification of potential battery cell failure risks.
The innovation is the result of successful collaboration between industry and the research community. It combines Robotina’s expertise in energy and control systems with Rudolfovo’s research capabilities in data analytics and artificial intelligence.
This recognition confirms the potential of Slovenian expertise in developing advanced digital solutions that improve the reliability and resilience of critical infrastructure. It also provides additional momentum for the further development and broader adoption of the BatteryIQ solution in international markets.
