MUNICIPALITY OF KOPER - COUNTING&TRAFFIC
Area of solution: Mobility / Parking lots
With the aim of providing good service to the citizens and visitors of the municipality of Koper, a traffic notification and routing system was designed and installed via smart signboards that provide directions in the direction of possible parking locations and display their level of occupancy.
Equipment:
Cybrotech Cybro-3 controllers
Robot's IoT Linker
LED signal boards
Effects:
Optimization of the parking search process
Better care for visitors and citizens
Improving mobility
MUNICIPALITY OF KOPER - MOBILITY&PARKING LOTS
Mobility monitoring system
Area of solution: Differentiated counting in traffic
The municipality of Koper decided to monitor mobility in individual road sections for the needs of better planning and traffic management. Robotina has implemented road loops for traffic counting and a digital service, an API service for downloading and viewing the situation in real time, in individual roundabouts.
Equipment:
Cibrotech, Cybro-3
Robotina IoT-Linker
Moxa
Traffic IQ
Effects:
Insight into the state of mobility in real time
Possibility of data analysis
API services according to open data guidelines for building new solutions
Islamic Bank-Doha (Qatar)
Management of parking lots
Area of solution: Mobility / Parking lots / Smart buildings
Islamic Bank-Doha wanted to provide good service to its customers already in the garage itself, in such a way that customers can always get to the parking space in an easy way and at the same time obtain additional data for additional analyzes and services.
The seven (7) storey garage building with 479 parking spaces was fully equipped with UZ sensors, RGB LEDs and external displays that inform visitors about free parking spaces in the entire garage building and on each floor. The internal display on each floor shows free parking spaces on the relevant and subsequent floors and intuitively directs visitors. The central control station ensures that the control center has a complete overview of the situation and the necessary measures.
Equipment:
Cybrotech Cybro-3
Moxa
Park IQ
Effects:
Good service to visitors and users
Ensuring the utilization of parking lots up to 99.5%
HYDROLOGICAL AND METEOROLOGICAL MEASURING STATIONS
Weather stations
Professional and energy-efficient measuring devices for measuring and monitoring various weather and ecological parameters. The multitasking distributed measurement system supports fully automatic measurement of various quantities, collection, capture and processing of all data and transfer to control centers, where this data can be processed as desired and used for a variety of purposes, from forecasting to alarming in case of natural disasters. The robust design is adapted to continuous operation in extreme conditions.
The devices measure:
The presence and amount of precipitation
Air temperatures and humidity
Air pressure
Wind direction and speed
The height of the snow cover
The height of the clouds
Soil temperatures
Insolation (global, diffuse and UV radiation) -> all additional information on request.
Hydrological stations
Energy self-sufficient and connectable measuring stations enable continuous real-time monitoring of all parameters captured by the sensors, and at the same time, the design of the system enables continuous monitoring of all instruments of the measuring stations themselves. The measuring stations are designed in such a way that they can very easily accommodate additional sensors or connected devices.
Water level monitoring using various measurement methods (ultrasound radar, pressure probe)
Flow monitoring
Temperature monitoring
Pollution monitoring (media conductivity)
Based on measurement and solution data and Robotine's digital services, we can very quickly offer dedicated solutions through predictions, cognitive management (use of water for irrigation) and other customized solutions. HNG SELŠKA GORA
After devastating floods that affected city of Železniki in 2007 the Republic of Slovenia adopted the National Spatial Plan for flood protection. The objectives of the National Spatial Plan are to protect the city of Železniki from 100-year flood high waters by implementing appropriate flood protection measures and to regulate the regional road passing through the old town center.
Technologies and operation:
For measuring the water level pressure probe and radar sensor are applied (redundancy) for increasing reliability of operation in tough environmental conditions.
The system is designed to operate with three power modes:
Power supply from the electricity distribution network
Power from a mobile generator
Power from battery
Effects:
increased flood protection of the Selška valey that is exposed to high risk of devastating floods
increased reliability of measurements by dual sensors (pressure and radar)
increased reliability of operation by hybrid power supply (electric grid, battery, solar power generator)
increased reliability of data transfer and retention by radio and ADSL communication, local and remote (cloud) data storage
