For those who have their own energy source, such as a solar power plant or home cogeneration, it additionally enables optimal use of the energy produced.
HEMS can provide electric vehicle owners with the fastest, cheapest and most optimal charging. In the smart grid ecosystem, HEMS activates consumers and thus efficiently distributes energy among different stakeholders.

Full tank of electricity without failure
An electric car is the biggest consumer of electricity you have at home. If you fill it up at home, it is by far the cheapest fuel. The power of the home connection is already limited, and the home charging station represents an additional burden. HEMS has a solution. It provides your car with all the energy available at a given moment. In doing so, it dynamically and optimally uses its own resources and storage tanks and automatically charges with the lowest tariff, but if you need the car urgently, HEMS can temporarily disconnect less urgent consumers.

What can we manage with HEMS?
Easy to set up and easy to operate
HEMS enables control and safe management of consumers such as:
- Heat Pump,
- Electric water heaters,
- Air conditioners,
- Electric car charging station
- Other major consumers.
You can connect to it:
- up to three alternative sources of electricity (solar power plant, domestic cogeneration) and
- up to two electricity storage units,
HEMS connected to cloud service: HIQ Universe. This enables all advanced functions and participation in various joint activities.
How does HEMS work?
Awareness, management, optimization and shift of consumption
HEMS provides its effects through four main mechanisms. The first mechanism is "awareness". HEMS clearly displays all relevant energy flows, which allows us to use another "management" mechanism to control consumers in such a way as to reduce their unnecessary use. Unlike the first two, which are simple and logical, the third mechanism would not be possible without state-of-the-art technology that ensures that the system learns our habits and independently "optimizes" our consumption. The most interesting is the fourth mechanism, which enables the "shifting of consumption" of electricity, since the price of energy becomes variable and depends on the moment we need it.
HEMS constantly monitors our needs, predicts them and ensures purchase (consumption) at the moment when the price is the most favorable. The same applies in the opposite direction for those users with their own production: if we have excess energy, we sell it when the price is the highest. By offering the so-called flexibility, we can also make money using the cloud service.
